SALESMAN Phil Williams has won a job interview after offering himself for sale to employers on eBay.
The dad-of two from Stone placed his CV on the auction website as he faced redundancy for the first time in his life.
And with several days of bidding left to run, he has won the chance of becoming a branch manager with security system specialist ADI Gardener. The interview has been scheduled for August 12.
The Staffordshire division of NHS watchdog the Local Involvement Network (LINk) has also shown interest in acquiring his services.
Phil, aged 42, of Mount Road, Stone, is a customer service and sales specialist who is among the 15 staff being made redundant from Hixon-based Mica Hardware.
