With over 10 million users, have a look at XING; the Hamburg, Germany based social network for professionals. Considering its origin, it's not surprising that over 40 percent of the ten million registered users are from German-speaking countries.
However, the social network is in a strong position in a couple of other markets, notably Spain and Turkey. There are 1.5 million XING users in Spain, according to the company, one of its biggest markets outside of Germany.
The site has seen strong growth in Turkey as well where it now has over 1 million users.
