Through trial and error, seems as if you have 20 characters to give you Pinterest pins a readable title (if you're planning to use the RSS feeds from Pinterest).
As you' see from the RHS of this blog, you have 20 or so characters to craft a meaningful title.
I also found by adding a few carriage returns after the title (when adding the pin text), makes it a little cleaner.
I need to get out more.
