Using headers and footers in your CV

If used, headers and footers will appear on every page of your CV and can be used for your name, page number and address and email. They are helpful to make sure pages stay together and in the right order if the CV is printed, and again make the CV look better.

Re WORD 2010, click the Insert tab, then on Footer and finally on Alphabet and a footer will be created at the bottom of the page. Where it says type text, type in your name and if you so wish, your address and email. The page number will be automatically inserted to the right. When you have finished, double click on the main body of the CV to return to this.
