Put yourself in the shoes of a would-be employer - does your CV invite the reader to read?
I've read (and written for that matter), CVs that - when first pulled off the printer - screamed "Whoaaa!!! look at all that small type! Dang! I don't want to read all that!". If I/you thought that, you can bet 85% of all recipients are thinking that as well when they first see your CV.
Don't work in isolation - ask others to proof read your CV for you. They may spot something that you've missed.
