#Bristol #graduate #jobs fair expected to attract employers

A jobs fair being held at Bristol's University of the West of England is set to see graduate employers take their place to snap up some young talent.

Despite the recession, 80 employers and 19 volunteer organisations have enrolled to appear at the fair, with thousands of students and graduate job hunters expected to walk through the Frenchay campus on October 8th, the Bristol Evening Post reported.

According to the organisers, the Meet the Employers Fair will be the largest in the university's history and graduate job hunters could find work with participating firms such as Intel and Airbus.

Tim Batemen, who is helping to run the jobs fair, told the newspaper: "Those attending will have the opportunity to speak directly to employers about career and placement opportunities. It's an ideal training ground for students to rehearse and develop their skills at presenting themselves as an employee prospect."

Three creative graduates from Scotland recently considerably improved their graduate job prospects after having been picked by renowned art collector Charles Saatchi to show their work in an exhibition.
