Head of proposition and product development

Reporting to the Strategy and Innovation Director you’ll be one of our main ‘ideas into action’ people, creating innovative and practical solutions to our Service offerings that really make a difference to the lives of our customers.

Our proposition and product development is about coming up with, and delivering on, ideas and products that really will change the long term money behaviour of the UK population. We operate across multiple delivery channels but with a digital thrust. No easy task but you’ll relish and own it.
The successful candidate:

  • is likely to have a minimum of 4-5 years of experience working in a dynamic and demanding proposition and product development environment
  • is impactful, able to persuade others of innovative ideas, backed up by a strongly-constructed and well-articulated business case
  • has experience in customer facing industries, such as FMCG, digital services, media, retail, telecoms which are of particular interest (experience in financial services is not essential but useful)
  • has experience in B2C propositions, together with an ability to apply that knowledge to B2B propositions, using progressive product development techniques, and
  • is attuned to customer behaviour and has an understanding of the full range of diverse customer needs, working from data and insight-driven information.
