FarFetch - Head of Product

We want to bring into the farfetch.com community an outstanding Head of Product to lead the future development of the customer experience on Farfetch.com. You will work with our existing product managers and development team to deliver a cutting edge user experience that goes beyond any available on fashion ecommerce sites today.
 
farfetch.com is a marketplace of independent fashion boutiques. By working with the best fashion boutiques and people in the world we offer our customers a unique range of product, a global shopping experience, personal service and access to an amazing community of fashion and design lovers. We are a global business with over 100 staff in offices in London, Porto, LA, NY and Sao Paolo, launched in 2008 and are on an exciting and rapid growth trajectory.

Your responsibilities
 
Ideas: from your own experience, listening to customers, working with the team and analysing data, you will come up with unique, creative ideas on how to improve the customer experience.
Strategy: you will have a clear product vision for Farfetch.com and ensure that it constantly evolves
Roadmap: you will own and drive the product roadmap, currently a quarterly roadmap with 2 week sprints
Delivery: you will work with our in-house development team to deliver fast, high quality products in our agile environment, and iterate quickly to improve everything!
Analysis: you will love using data to assess how great the customer experience is
Leadership: you will contribute to the overall strategy and management of the business. You will build a customer focussed culture that is passionate about building great products
Management: you will manage the Product Management team, currently two people
Teamwork: you will work with teams across our business in London, Portugal, US and Brazil to get the best and most important ideas developed
Culture: you will add to our fun, creative, fast paced, passionate culture
 
Your background
  • You have significant experience (5+ years) building world class products in a leading commerce business
  • Ideally you will have worked in the fashion category and understand the specific customer needs
  • Ideally you will have experience building product features in ecommerce, social and mobile
  • You will demonstrate a passion for the customer and have significant experience conducting customer research (focus groups, user sessions, surveys etc)
  • You will be intensely analytical, using data to support and drive your decisions
  • You will be highly creative with evidence of innovative product development
  • You will be a strong project manager and have worked in an agile environment. Ideally you are SCRUM certified (product owner or scrum master)
  • You will have managed a small team before and show strong people skills
  • You will have a work hard, play hard attitude and generally be fun to work with!
